About Us:

Without A Hitch Weddings provides couples with the peace of mind that everything on your wedding day will go smoothly. Wedding planners are there so you don’t have to worry about keeping a timeline, setting up your reception hall, or to make sure your photographer takes the photos you want. We do the worrying for you, so you can enjoy the experience of one of the most important and special days of your life. We make sure that you’re not concerned about keeping to your schedule, which takes away from the full experience of your wedding day.

Our services vary depending on your needs. They range from simply being there to co-ordinate the day of your wedding to helping you to choose your reception hall, flowers, invitations, and to organize every aspect of your wedding.

How are we different from the other guys?? Why should you hire us?

Someone in Your Corner: Our planners will assist you with whatever you need for your wedding, but they’re also going to be someone who will make your ideas work. We work for you and will always support your decisions. Many planners try to force their ideas upon you, but we believe this is YOUR wedding, and should be way you want it. That doesn’t mean we won’t advise you and give you feedback, but ultimately, once you’ve made your decisions, we will support them!

A Professional Attitude: Your wedding planner is your link to vendors, family, friends, guests, and everyone else involved in your big day. Our planners are respectful towards everyone and will give nothing less than a professional attitude towards everything they do.

Flexibility: Most wedding packages are exclusive and do not allow for your individual needs. You end up receiving services you may not require, which means you’re paying for services you’ll never use. We understand that every wedding is unique, thus a “package” may not work for what you need. We are more than willing to add or subtract services from our pre-existing packages, and will only charge you for what you’ll need (which means you will only pay for what you’ll use and save money!).

Beyond Exceptional Service: Some wedding coordination companies cannot make certain specific guarantees that we promise at Without A Hitch Wedding Consultants-exclusivity at least a week before your wedding (for Full Service Packages), personal responses from your planner (usually within 24 hours, but normally within 12), and that willingness to go the extra mile for our clients (we have no problem getting on that dance floor and doing “The Chicken Dance” in order to get your guests off their chairs and dancing!)

Our Planners:

Lauren Drysdale has been in event and wedding planning since 2002. She began planning weddings for family, friends, and associates, and was caught by the wedding planning bug! With several years of wedding planning experience, Lauren is sure to give your wedding the time and attention it deserves. Also, Lauren has spent the last nine years in a customer service role, directly dealing with customers, which translates into a professional attitude and the ability to handle complex situations quickly and effectively. Notably, Lauren has been seen on CBC and was a featured guest on CHML900.

Lauren’s philanthropic nature has given her the opportunity to participate in organizing several fundraising and recruitment events (along with her wedding planning), for many organizations including the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the McMaster University Chapter of Phi Delta Theta, The Hudson’s Bay Company, and Avon’s Breast Cancer Crusade Campaign.

Lauren holds an Honours B.A. in English from McMaster University and a post-diploma from Sheridan College.
